JOYCE "GRAMMIE" EDWINA WIMP TAFAOA

85, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, went to be with her Heavenly Father on January 15, 2022. She was born on October 7, 1936 to Edgar Allan Wimp and Mary Pauline Davis (Whitney, Wimp) in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her husband Fitu “Big T” Sr., daughter Sherry Soama (Sykes), and two granddaughters. She is survived by daughter Sheila Filiga Dickerson (John), sons David Allen (Tammy) and Fitu “Little T” Jr. (Noelle), 8 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Grammie was a longtime member of the Waipahu Free Will Baptist Church in Waipahu, Hawaii and more recently at East Pointe Church in Jacksonville Florida.
A service will be held at East Pointe Church, 270 Kernan Blvd N, Jacksonvile, Florida 32225 on Saturday, February 19, at 11:00am. Aloha attire. She will be laid to rest at a future date with her husband at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
