ORIET U’ILANI ENGLISH Oriet U’ilani English, known as "Bobbee" or "Ginger," of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on April 8th, 2020 at the age of 62. Ginger was a well-known entertainer and the manager of the singing group, Kaleo O Kalani. Through hard work and dedication, her musical career spanned over many years and her legacy survives today as the music of Kaleo O Kalani is still being enjoyed and played over the radio. Ginger is survived by several family members including her brothers Paul Akona, Wrenly Ka’akimaka, Heine English and William "Billy" English; Hanai Sister Eileen Ogata. A celebration of life service in her honor will be held on February 10th 2022 at Diamond Head Mortuary. Public visitation is at 5:00 p.m. with the memorial service following at 6:00 p.m. Her burial will be held at Diamond Head Memorial Park on February 11th, 2022, at 10:30 a.m.
