LAUREN NOHEALANI TAMAYONE FUJII CHRISTENSEN 40, sadly passed away on September 11, 2020. She was born on July 14, 1980 in Honolulu to Harold and Lorenne Fujii. She attended Manoa Elementary School and was a proud graduate of Mid-Pacific Institute. After graduating from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa and earning her Master’s Degree in Education at Chaminade University, she became a DOE teacher at Noelani Elementary School. In 2005, she married the love of her life, Erik. They were blessed with their pride and joys, a daughter and a son. She is also survived by her maternal Grandmother Ela; sister, Larissa (Koani); brother Jared (Rayna); in-laws Kathy, Rick, Neal, Dane (Kristen); nephews and nieces and many other relatives. Lauren was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter and beloved sister. She never missed any family event, milestone or accomplishment. She will be forever loved and missed by family, friends, co-workers, fellow church members, her students and many more. Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021. The service will be held at Diamond Head Mortuary, and begin at 1:00 p.m. with a walk through visitation to follow. We kindly request that family and friends bring their masks and vaccination cards. The family respectfully requests no flowers.
