TAKEMITSU AKAMINE 92, of Honolulu, an Army veteran and retired supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service, passed away on November 19, 2021 at home. He was born in Mountain View, Hawaii. He is survived by his wife, Tomeko; son, Allan; daughters, Naomi (Anthony) Bartholomew and Pauline (Tookie) Akamine-Adams; sister, Beatrice Kaneshiro; and four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. Visitation: 5:00 p.m. Causal attire, mask required and covid restrictions apply. No flowers or monetary gifts please.
