TOMIKO CHOCK

93, passed away peacefully at home on August 9, 2021. Born in Japan, Tomiko moved to Hawaii in 1978. She had diverse interests, including golf, bowling, poker, mah-jongg and taking English classes. She also had a Sogetsu Ikebana teacher’s license and loved to grow plants, especially orchids and fruit trees. She was a loving mother who will be missed greatly.
Tomiko is predeceased by her husband, Herbert Chock. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Chock, Lorraine Sato (Osamu) and Kathryn Hasebe (Glenn); grandchildren, Aimee Tachibana (Yu), Berton Hasebe (Hyo) and Lisa Hori (Jaymes); great-grandchildren, Ayame Tachibana and Herb Hasebe. She is also survived by relatives in Japan. Private services will be held at a later date.
