SEIJI SAKATA 95, of Kailua, a WWII US Army veteran with the Military Intelligence Services and recipient of the Congressional Gold Medal. Retired Chemist for the Federal Government, passed away May 20, 2021. Born in Honolulu. He was preceded by his wife Betsy, survived by sons Jon (JoAnn Tsark) and Ross (Lynne); and granddaughters, Lauren (Ryan) and Dayna. Private Services.
