TO: Defendants unknown heirs or assigns of HOAPILI (k), also known as HOAPILI KALAKIELA (k) (husband of Kaulana), DEARBORN JACKSON, also known as DEABORA JACKSON (husband of Pupuha, aka: Poupuha), and all unknown persons having or claiming to have any interest in the real property described in the complaint.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Plaintiff, KAUPO RANCH, LTD, has filed a complaint in the Second Circuit Court, State of Hawaii, CIVIL NO. 21-0000059, to determine all claims adverse to and to establish Plaintiff’s fee simple title to Royal Patent Grant No. 1449 to Kanakaokai, excepting one half acre lot thereof covering the old Kanakaokai Cemetery, and Royal Patent Grant No. 2042 to Dearborn Jackson, both situated at Kaupo, Hana, Maui, Hawaii, currently within Tax Map Key: (2) 1-7-004-004.
YOU ARE HEREBY SUMMONED to appear in the courtroom of the Honorable Kelsey T. Kawano, Judge of the Second Circuit Court, Circuit Courthouse Building, 2145 Main Street, Wailuku, HI 967936, on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. or to file an answer or other pleading and serve it before said day upon Plaintiff’s attorney, WAYNE P. NASSER, whose address is ASHFORD & WRISTON, a Limited Liability Law Partnership LLP, First Hawaiian Center, Suite 1400, 999 Bishop Street, Honolulu, HI 96813. If you fail to do so, judgment by default will be rendered against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint.
