Emery Gordon Keikikalanikuakaha’eo Henderson, 73, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020. Born on January 5, 1947, he was a graduate of the Kamehameha School for Boys, Class of 1965. He attended the United States Army Officers’ Candidate School and was honorably discharged as a 1st Lieutenant during the Vietnam War. He was a beloved coach for many years with the Aiea National Little League, Babe Ruth League, and various ILH teams. At the time of his passing, Emery was a Social Worker with the Child Protective Services for the State of Hawaii where he served the community for 35 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Dana Lau; sons Tanner (Michelle),Talon (Sandi) and daughter Tatum; grandsons Connor, Cross, Creed, and Hopper. He is also survived by siblings Okanani (Eric) Yamauchi, Rannie (Stephanie) Henderson, Samuel (Nalani) Henderson, Bailey-Lei (Ronnie) McKee, and sister-in-law, Nancy (Benjamin, deceased) Henderson.
