SHUNQING XU 83, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, passed away peacefully at The Queen’s Medical Center on May 11, 2020. Shunqing was born on July 15, 1936 and grew up in Shanghai China, he was a retired Engineer. Shunqing and YaoFang relocated to Hawaii in 2009 to live with their daughter’s family. He enjoyed photography, writing and was a designer, inventor of flying machines in his retirement. Shunqing is survived by his wife YaoFang Chen of 51 years, daughter Masako Zheng (Guy) Xu-Sugahara, beloved grand- daughter Mia Xu-Sugahara, nephews Zhimin (YinDi) Xu in Shanghai, China, ZhiJiang (Rong) Xu in Tokyo, Japan. Shunqing was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and a friend to everyone.
