Hawaiian Electric is seeking public comment on proposed Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to be located at Kahe Power Plant and on industrial land near Kalaeloa.
In the interest of public health, community meetings that were scheduled in Nanakuli and Kapolei were canceled. Instead, we invite those who live in these communities to view our presentation on ‘Olelo Community Media, Channel 49, or participate in a virtual meeting.

Scroll to the O’ahu projects, Virtual Public Meeting, and click on “Join the Meeting.” Participants can only register on the day of the meeting.
