GERTRUDE Gertrude Yim Chock, 98, passed away on January 22, 2020. She and her late husband Leon raised 8 children – daughters Cynthia Johnson, Patricia Bozonier, Virginia Chock, and sons David, Paul, Stephen, Donald and Robert. Additional family includes 16 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren. For many years Gertrude was a substitute elementary school teacher. She later continued her penchant for education by tutoring students at Kapiolani Community College. She loved to cook, had a passion for tennis, and was an accomplished painter. Gertrude has left a lasting impression on all who knew and loved her.
