THELMA TERUMI KOKUBUN

Passed away surrounded by loved ones on October 21, 2019. Thelma was born on Maui on June 2, 1931. In 1975, Thelma moved to Hayward, California, where she resided for about 30 years. She retired in August, 2004, after working 24 years with the Alameda County Office of Education. In 2013, Thelma moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, to be near her daughters.

Thelma is survived by her daughters Pamela Diaz and Renee Balkwill; and son Ward Kokubun.

A private service will be held. Donations may be made in memory of Thelma Kokubun to Yu-Ai Kai, 588 N. 4th St, San Jose, CA 95112.
