Anne Frances Kusao was known and loved by so many as a gentle and joyful spirit, who passed through this life with grace and elegance.
She was born on July 24, 1942, in Pettigo, Donegal Ireland, and at the age of 21, with very little and a small suitcase, she boldly made her way to Hawaii. In her many years in America, with her husband Ty Kusao, she amassed a wealth of friends, created a loving family, built a successful business, and lived life to its fullest both in Hawaii and Ireland.
She was a warrior, an adventurer, a curious spirit, a good friend, and an inspiring mother and grandmother.
Anne will be remembered by the many who knew her for her sweet smile, sparkling blue eyes and the joy she brought to us all. Her absence and loss will be forever felt by her children Brian Tatsumura, Steven Kusao, Kelly Lee, her daughters-in-law, her six beautiful grand- children, and an uncountable number of friends and family.
A celebration of her life and legacy will be held at Diamond Head Memorial Park on September 21st with visitation starting at 9:30am and services at 10:30am. She will also come home to her beloved Ireland later next year.
