YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that QUEEN EMMA LAND COMPANY, a Hawaii nonprofit corporation (hereinafter “Plaintiff”), has filed a Complaint in Civil No. 16-1-0394-03 VLC, in the Circuit Court of the First Circuit, State of Hawaii for judgment in favor of Plaintiff against Defendant JOHN AGUADA in the amount of $61,676.97 and such other and further sums as may be proven, together with interest, and Plaintiff’s reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, and any other relief as may be just and equitable in the circumstances.
YOU ARE HEREBY SUMMONED to appear before the HONORABLE JAMES C. MCWHINNIE in his courtroom at First Circuit Court, 777 Punchbowl Street, Fourth Floor, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813 on October 29, 2019 at 9:00 o’clock a.m., of said day or to file with the Clerk of the First Circuit Court an answer or other pleading and serve it before said day upon Plaintiff’s attorneys, VAN BUREN & SHIMIZU LLP whose address is 6600 Kalanianaole Highway, Suite 212, Honolulu, Hawaii 96825. If you fail to do so, judgment by default will be taken against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint.
