1. Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan (ISWMP)
Public Review Hearing
A public hearing for the purpose of receiving public comments on the City and County’s draft revised Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan Update (Plan) prior to final submittal to the State of Hawaii Department of Health, as required by Chapter 342G-22(b) of the Hawaii Revised Statutes. The Plan describes current and proposed solid waste programs and will serve as a blueprint for solid waste management in the County for the next 10 years.
All interested persons are invited to comment on the draft revised Plan orally or in writing at the hearing. Written comments may also be submitted to the address below until close of business Thursday, August 27, 2019.

The draft revised Plan may be viewed and downloaded free of charge at www.opala.org.
