87, of Honolulu, died peacefully at home. He was born in Lahaina, Maui and raised in Maunaloa, Moloka’i. Raymond served in the USMC during the Korean War and he retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a Letter Carrier.
Raymond is survived by Mildred, his devoted wife of 61 years; his children: Raymond Jr., of Lana’i, Susan (Alex) Rothhammer, Amy (Troy) Tajiri, Jon (NoeNoe) Barona; his grandchildren Dominique (Jason) Say, Donovan Martinez, of Utah, Christopher, Tori-May, and Ryan Tajiri, Jacob and Julia Barona; his sister Loretta Santiago of Moloka’i, and many nieces and nephews. Raymond was an avid bowler, a terrific harmonica player and a very humble man.

Services will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, Kaimuki
Thursday, June 13, 2019. Visitation: 9:30 a.m.; Mass: 11:00 a.m.;
Burial: 2:00 p.m. at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
