HATSUKO HIGA 89, of Monterey Park, CA, died May 14, 2019. She was born in Hawi, Hawaii. She is survived by daughter, Lori (Frank) Rios; grandchildren, Jonah, Noah and Elijah; brothers, Wallace (Patsy), Kenneth (Amy), Andrew (Joyce) Oshiro. She was predeceased by her husband, Duane Nobu Higa and sister, Eleanor (Tadashi) Shiira. Visitation 5 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2019 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services 6 p.m. Inurnment 10:30 a.m., June 11 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
