RUSSELL SUNAO KAKUDA 68, of Honolulu, an Army veteran and retired mail carrier for the United States Postal Service, passed away in Honolulu on May 15, 2019. He was born in Puunene, Maui. He is survived by his wife, Dorene; son, Trevor (Tasha); daughters, Brittnie (Justin) Park and Marisa Kakuda; mother, Lillian Kakuda; brothers, Randall and Rowland (LeeAnn); and sister, Raena (Jason) Takaki. Visitation is at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. The service begins at 11:00 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
