MARILYN SACHIKO KEAU

Our beloved mother passed away peacefully at her home on April 5, 2019. Marilyn was born in North Kohala, Hawaii, on May 10, 1932. Mom graduated from Kohala High School and received her bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Hawaii. Mom was happily married to our father, Stanley Keau, for 33 years. Mom was a skilled lauhala weaver and enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She enjoyed making and giving her pikake corsages and handmade rugs, lilikoi and fig jams and Portuguese sweet bread. Mom was a loving and devoted grandmother to her grandsons Taylor, Kalen and Zachary.
She is survived by her daughters Carol Ann Keau-Jackon and Sharon Keau-Chong. Preceded in death by her husband and family.

A Celebration of Mom’s life will be held on
Monday, May 13, 2019, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary.
Visitation will begin at 5PM. Services will begin at 6PM. Aloha attire.
