DR. KEIJI INUO 71, of Honolulu passed away surrounded by his family, on June 7, 2018. He was the second son and youngest child of Tokuo and Masako Inuo, born on August 10, 1946 in Yamanashi, Japan. Dr. Inuo was the President of Eastern Clinic, Inc. and was a well-respected acupuncturist and herbalist in Hawaii for nearly 50 years. He dedicated his life to the practice and education of Eastern Medicine. A brilliant man ahead of his time, Dr. Inuo created several software programs using the teachings of Eastern Medicine in the early 1990s and 2000s. The Kanpo (Chinese herbal) medicine computer program that he created, continues to help many patients. Dr. Inuo was an accomplished man of many gifts. In addition to his passion for healing through Eastern Medicine, his love for music, art, animals, and food has touched many people in Hawaii and around the world. He was a talented artist and calligrapher, a skilled pianist, and a masterful chef. Dr. Inuo lived a fascinating life, depicted in his autobiography, "Kaban". He was also in the process of publishing a novel based on the life of Manase Dosan, the father of Eastern Medicine, in Japan. Dr. Inuo is survived by his wife, Masako; children, Nina (Donn) Arizumi, and Elise (Marc) Dixon; brother, Hajime Inuo; sister, Yoshiko Ishige; four grandchildren, Payton, Kyla, Ace, and Ayla; and dog, Chopin.
