Yago Uchiuebaru, 89, of Honolulu, passed away on August 23, 2018. Born in Maukaloa Camp, Pepeekeo, Hawaii, she was a seamstress, an anthurium and orchid hobbyist, a home-maker and a member of the Oroku Aza Jin Club where she was affectionately known as the "Andaagi Lady". She is survived by sons Terry (Rene), Dan (Mayumi) and Nathan (Beverly); daughters Carolyn (Dennis) Shimabuku, Gwen (Wayne) Sasaki and Pat Taira; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and sister Jean "Sayo" Miyaji. Visitation from 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service 11:30 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
