The project involves the construction of six separate two-story buildings on a 2.78 acre site. Included in the project is the construction of the underground utilities supporting the structures, to a point of connection at the property line. Landscaping and on-grade parking for residents is included in the project. The buildings will have a total of 52 residential units for families, with the total square footage of buildings consisting of about 45,000 square feet and constructed with a slab-on-grade and metal stud exterior and interior wall systems.
RFP instructions will be available on September 24, 2018 and may be obtained by emailing cflaherty@3leafholdings.com to request an invite to the Dropbox files for review.
Contractor will be required to comply with all applicable current State and Federal labor standards in effect at the time the Contract(s) is executed.
Prospective proposers must provide written notice of their intention to offer a proposal. Proposers shall be licensed in accordance with Chapter 444, Hawaii Revised Statutes, relating to the licensing of Contractor. Hawaiian Community Development Board must receive such written notice by 3 p.m. on September 27, 2018 via: Email: cflaherty@3leafholdings.com.
A pre-bid conference and site inspection will be held on September 27 at 10:00 a.m. at the site. This will be the only opportunity to visit the site during the bid period; therefore, attendance at this meeting is encouraged.
Proposers attention is directed to Act 352, SLH 1997, relating to the requirements for tax clearances from the State Department of Taxation and Internal Revenue Service, as a prerequisite to entering into a contract and receiving final payment.
Qualified small and minority business firms, firms owned by women, and Section 3 firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
