It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gay Wong must announce her passing from a sudden heart attack on August 4th. She passed away peacefully doing one of her favorite things – having a wonderful dinner in the company of good friends.

She was the beloved significant other of Bennett Hymer for thirty-five years, “mother” of her two canine kids, Daisy and Lucci, as well as a special friend to Jeff Lee and Brenda Wong.

Gay quickly bonded with people and gathered many close friends during her life.

She is survived by: parents Thomas and Setsuko Wong; siblings: Michael Wong, Linda Miller,
Garrett Wong, Darlene Nakasone, and Janice Akioka; nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Gay’s Life will be held at 12:00 noon on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at

Graveside Service: 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, "Abraham’s Garden", 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744
