HAWAIIAN SHORES COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION WATER SYSTEM PROJECT

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Hawaiian Shores Community Association Street Repaving Project will be received, from bidders by the Hawaiian Shores Community Association at their office which is located at 15-2793 Honu Street, Pahoa, HI 96778 until 4:00 PM on September 12, 2018 at which time the bids will be opened privately. The Project consists of placing a 1 ½ inch overlay of asphalt pavement on top of 11.5 miles of existing roadways within the community. Required traffic control, pavement marking, and the replacement/adjustment of three speed humps is also included.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be per square foot of pavement surface for repaving and lump sum for pavement markings, traffic control and speed hump replacement/adjustment.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: The Hawaiian Shores Community Association, c/o Steven Bailey, Project Manager, 15-2793 Honu Street, Pahoa, HI 96778, 808 965-8140 Office, 513 374-9661 Cell and hsca_wso@hawaii.rr.com email. Prospective Bidders may examine and pick up the Bidding Documents at no charge at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are also available on thumb drives (as portable document format (PDF) files) at no charge.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
