61, of Zebulon, North Carolina, formerly of Nanakuli, Hawaii, passed away on May 21, 2018 at the Durham V.A. Medical Center in North Carolina. She leaves behind her loving family and friends with many beloved memories of her.
She is survived by her husband, Johnnie V. Carpenter of Zebulon; daughters: Ariel, CA., Mercedes, S.C., and Jonnell Carpenter, N.C.; parents, Joseph and Joyce Puou, Nanakuli; siblings: Alexander, Waianae, Thomas (Mary Ann), CA., and Jolynn (Sautia, Jr.) Lave, Nanakuli; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
