LIN T. LAU

91, 1SG US Army (retired) of Wahiawa, Hawaii passed away peacefully at home on February 28, 2018. He was born in Waialua, Hawaii. A proud veteran of twenty years awarded the Bronze Star Medal four times (third oak leaf cluster, valor) for combat in Korea and Vietnam. Following his military service, he was a Civil Process Server until age 90 and was a founding member and Director of the Hawaii Deputy Sheriff’s Association. Survived by wife Thelma of 67 years; daughter Lily Ponto (Keith); sons: Matthew (Gloria) and Clifford (Gayle); grandchildren and great grandchildren. Military services were held privately and he now rests at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
