YAEKO M. ONO 92, of Pearl City, passed away on June 18, 2018. Born in Eleele, Kauai, she was a retired teacher and counselor for the State DOE at Waipahu High School. Preceded in death by husband, Tamotsu "Barney", she is survived by her sons, Benjamin (Leatrice) and Franklin (Rebecca) Ono; daughters, Eleanor Wood and Marlene (Shawn) McKenzie; five grandchildren; one great-grand- child; brother, Fusao Miyashiro and sister, Kazue Miyashiro. Visitation 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service at 10:00 a.m. No flowers. Aloha attire.
