GLENN H. NISHIKI

Glenn H. Nishiki (born April 3, 1949) formerly from Honolulu and a 1967 graduate of Roosevelt High School, passed away at age 69 on May 28, 2018, in Aurora, Colorado, his home for 45 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Ellen; his brothers Gordon (Marilyn) and Gerrit (Janice); sisters-in-law Lynn and Loine; and their families. He also leaves behind two step- children, five step-grandchildren, and one great-stepgrandchild.
Family members and friends gathered for a celebration of life in Honolulu on June 14 and in Aurora on June 16.
After serving in the Air Force for four years, Glenn got a civil service job at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora as an aircraft electronics specialist, working on aircraft like the A7D and the F16 until his retirement in 2004.
We will miss his gentle but strong presence, a man who lived life by this principle: “Live each day, be happy, life is short.”
