40, of Honolulu, HI, passed away on April 28th, 2018. Hau’oli was an accounts mgr for Safety Systems and Signs, Hawaii. Raised in Hau’ula, Hau’oli is a proud graduate of Kahuku High School #RRFL !!
She is survived by her husband Henry Thompson Jr.; sons, Avery & Aizen Thompson; Mother, Jowin (Richard) Carey; Father, Gary (Mikilani) Nihipali, Sr.; sisters: Hoku (Rob) Jones, Lahela Nihipali, and Kolo Carey; brothers: Kawe (Wendy) Nihipali, Ikaika Nihipali, Ricky & Raymond Carey; step siblings, Wyllie & Wendy Lum. Hau’oli is also survived by an extended ohana of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who loved her dearly.
Hau’oli’s Celebration of Life will be at Borthwick Mortuary, Maunakea Chapel on Saturday May 26th. Visitation: 12pm; Service: 1pm. Light pupus to follow. Casual attire & flowers welcome.
We will be scattering Hau’oli’s ashes at Hau’ula Beach Park on Sat., June 2nd from 11:00 – 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are welcome.
