JANE YOSHIE TSUHA Rest your weary eyes, at last, For the winds have whispered your soul to sleep, And the Ko’olaus beckon forth a sigh, Of peaceful memories in minds of deep… Dear Mom, when you passed away at home on March 18, 2018, we knew that you needed the well-deserved rest. But, we are left with the void of your joyful presence, one that filled our Kahalu’u home with treasured memories. You have lived your 85 years graciously, from your Honolulu life playing baseball with the Makiki gang, to your country life teaching at Wai’ahole, Reverend Benjamin Parker, Kahalu’u, and Hau’ula Schools. But, it was not until this greatest challenge that we learned what a remarkable person you were. The struggles that you bore did not diminish your positive nature, your generosity, and your fun sense of humor. Your family thanks you, for all eternity, for your untethered and unconditional love. Husband Thomas; Children Stephanie & Dr. William Lum, Dale & Felipe Sales, Rosten & Denise Tsuha, Donna & Pastor Shane Miura; 6 loving grandchildren; Brother, Dr. Toshiro Takehara; Sister, Doris Tomoeda.
