JOHN MINORU TSUTSUMI May 6, 1926 – April 6, 2018, died in Honolulu after a long illness. He retired from GTE – Haw’n Tel as a communications consultant and also was the owner of Fireworks Inc. He is survived by his wife, Mae; sons: Frederick Tsutsumi, Kent Tsutsumi (Vivian), Jon Tsutsumi (Kazuko), Kirk Matsumoto (Jan); Daughters: Joan Apana (Royden), Debbie Kam (Daryl), Daughter-in-law Laura Santana-Matsumoto, and 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grand- children; sisters, Linda Nagano, Martha Takaki and Clara Takiguchi; many nieces and nephews. Services to be held at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary, East Chapel on Wednesday May 2, 2018 at 5 pm. No Flowers.
