BEATRICE GALO TOMBOC

Beatrice Galo Tomboc, 83, died March 1, 2018, peacefully in her sleep. She is survived by children, Josie Ing (Darwin), Jesus Tomboc, Cherijean Tomboc-Brownlie (James) and Michelle Tomboc- Denault (Anthony); grandchildren, Darsie (Kai), Jeremy, Yasmin, Shireen, Cassidy and Makena; and two great-grandchildren, Kasie and Kaylee. She is predeceased by her husband, Braulio Tomboc, in 2017 and her daughter, Elvira Kheradpey (Bahman), in January 2018. Born in Waipahu, Hawaii, November 23, 1934, Beatrice moved to the Philippines where she met Braulio, the love of her life. They married and settled in Waipahu, to raise their four daughters and live their “American Dream.” A retired cook from the Plaza Hotel, Beatrice became an accomplished chef in her own right. Friends and family always enjoyed the bountiful and delicious holiday feasts at the Tomboc house. Her favorite pastimes include gardening, ballroom dancing with Braulio and watching her beloved Korean soap operas. She was also a lifetime member of the Binalonan club. Memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm (visitation at 5:30 pm) Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Mililani Memorial Park – Mauka Chapel. Mass service will be held at 11:00 am (visitation at 10:00 am) Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at St. Joseph Church in Waipahu. Burial at Mililani Memorial Park to follow. The family requests no Koden or monetary gifts, only your kind thoughts and prayers.
