LEONARD ICHIRO TAKATA 72, of Honolulu, a Vietnam War Army veteran and retired carpenter with the Carpenters Union, passed away on March 20, 2018, in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by his mother, Helen Hatsuko Takata; brothers, Eric (Yasuko) and Dennis (Rene); and by sisters, Judith (John) Hawkins and Christine Takata. Visitation is at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. The service begins at 3:00 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
