WALTER YUKIO SONODA, BUMPER 85, of Honolulu, a Coast Guard veteran and a retired welder for the City and County of Honolulu, passed away on December 9, 2017. He was born in Koloa, Kauai. He is survived by his wife, Sumie; daughter, Sheri (Jonathan) Kim; brothers, Michiyaki, Wallace (Anna) and Harry (Carol); and sister, Elsie Pung. He was pre-deceased by sister, Mabel Ige.
