CONSTANCE CONNIE M.L. CHOCK Constance "Connie" M.L. Chock, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother in addition to dedicated nurse and civil servant of Hawaii passed away on August 11, 2017 in Brookfield, Wisconsin. She is survived by her daughters, Michel Kopplin, and Ursula Chock-Harris. Her son Sydney Chock died 8 months earlier on December 15, 2016. She also leaves behind two son in-laws, Scott Kopplin and David Harris, 5 grandsons, Keanen Kopplin, Ryan Kopplin, Nicholas Kopplin, Cameron Harris and Elijah Harris, 2 grand-daughter in-laws Amy and Sandra Kopplin and 2 great-grandchildren, Leilani and Lennon Kopplin. Connie was the first Geriatric Nurse Practioner in the service of the State of Hawaii. She worked tirelessly throughout her career in the pursuit of public health for children and later the elderly. Included in her many professional accomplishments was assisting in the development of a public health system for the elderly of Micronesia. She also published several articles on public health and the elderly and was an adjunct instructor at the University of Hawaii. Memorial Services will be held on, Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 9:00am at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe, Hawaii. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
