GEORGE YASUO TSUBOTA 86, of Kaneohe, passed away on September 17, 2017. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired building inspector for the State of Hawaii and a retired electrician. He was the founder of Hodokan Judo Club and a member of the USJF Kata Development and Certification subcommittee. He is survived by his wife, Harumi "Harriet"; sons, Joel (Jina), Clint, Miles (Tina), Kevin (Myrna) and Reid (Joyce) Tsubota; 13 grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; brothers, Allen (Virginia) and Stanley Tsubota and sister, Florence Sugioka.
