RUTH YOSHIE NISHIMURA 99, of Honolulu, a retired preschool teacher for Mother Rice Preschool, passed away on August 28, 2017 at St. Francis Hospice Puiwa. She was born in Waihee, Maui. She is survived by sons, Dr. Bryan I. (Audrey) and Myron R. (Arlene); and by three grandchildren, Kara Nishimura, Rev. Reyn and Dr. Garyn Tsuru. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles H.; and daughter, Cheryl Tsuru. Visitation is at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. The service is at 4:00 p.m. Casual attire.
