FLORENTINO BALERIO TAMONDONG SR. On August 10th the Lord took "Tino" as he was affectionately called into his Kingdom but his LEGACY lives on. Coming from the Philippines to Hawaii he made many sacrifices working for many years as a laborer and carpenter for Dole Plantation Whitmore Village, then many years on Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands as a journeyman carpenter. As a man with respect he showed his love and support for his family throughout the years making sure family was first. In his later years, his talent with woodworking led him to making wooden crafts (paper towel holders, stools, and decorative planters) which many of his friends and customers of the Mililani Athletic Boosters Club Craft Fair still remember him for. The glowing smile that he carried till this day is what people will remember him for. That smile was so infectious that he made everyone smile no matter what kind of day they were having. We love you with all our hearts. Until we see you again. Age 93, died peacefully on August 10, 2017. Florentino is survived by his wife, Victoria; sons Conrad (Teri) and Florentino "Nick" (Cecilia); sisters Dominga Calacala, Winifred (Melvin) Yokoyama and Dolores (Richard) Pagan; brothers Liborio Jr. and Gary (Sandra) Tamondong; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grand- children.
