MAKOTO NEKOBA 90, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Pearl City Nursing Home. Born and raised in Pepeekeo, Hawaii, Mako lived most of his life in Honolulu with his family. He retired from Pan American Airways and the University of Hawaii Athletic Department. He lived his life to the fullest by traveling to many countries, earned a shiatsu and reflexology massage license and enjoyed massaging family and friends. In his retirement years Mako and Ayako enjoyed Las Vegas. He is survived by his wife, Ayako, daughter Kim Uyehara, son-in-law, Rodney Uyehara, sisters, Michie Asato, Tsuyako (Sim) Seiki and many loving nephews and nieces. Visitation will at 5:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m on September 15, 2017 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Arrangements Provided By: HOSOI GARDEN MORTUARY
