JACK STUART WILMOTH Jack Stuart Wilmoth died peacefully on Tuesday, August 22 surrounded by his four children. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was survived by sons Chris and Eric, daughters Laurie Archipley and Heather Herman, grandchildren Tyler Wilmoth, Jake and Nash Herman, and Melanie and Lindsey Archipley. Jack was born on July 2, 1931 in Los Angeles, California and graduated from San Pedro High School in 1949. In 1955, he married his high-school sweetheart Ann Hartley. Jack earned his BS in 1955 and MBA in 1960 from the University of Southern California, before beginning his career in commercial insurance and surety bonding. In 1972, Jack moved his family to Honolulu, joining King & Neel Insurance Agency where he served as Vice President, Senior Vice President and Chairman of the Board, retiring in 2000. An avid golfer, Jack joined the Oahu Country Club in 1990 and enjoyed countless rounds of golf, including more than 300 rounds in several years. He also loved spending time with his family, traveling, photography and reading.
