NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND AVAILABILITY OF PROPOSED PLAN TRANSFORMERS F-678 AND 678 (ELECTRICAL SHOP), MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII, KANEOHE, OAHU, HAWAII The Navy announces a public meeting at the Aikahi Elementary School (281 Ilihau Street, Kailua) on September 6, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the Proposed Plan for Transformers F-678 and 678 (Electrical Shop), Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe, Oahu, Hawaii. The Navy invites the public to review and comment on the Proposed Plan. Investigation has been completed at the site and the Navy proposes Land Use Controls (LUCs) to complete the remedy for the site. Periodic inspections and five-year reviews will ensure that the LUCs continue to protect human health and the environment in the future.
