RICHARD NEGRILLO, SR. Richard Negrillo Sr., 77, received his wings on June 25, 2017. He was born on July 1, 1939 to his mother Constancia Negrillo. Richard & his sister Purita Hemzacek have fond memories growing up together on Maui, Oahu, & Moloka’i. The 1957 Molokai High School graduate fell in love with his bride Kanani Negrillo. His deepest joys will always be in his 8 children: Noella Negrillo, Richard Negrillo Jr (Rhonda), Bernadette Puhi (Keawe), Lynette Negrillo-Dudoit (Dukie), Nelson Negrillo (Sidney), Roberta Delos Reyes (Lester), Eliza Ignacio (Nathan), & Anthony Negrillo. His legacy lives on through his 20 grandkids, 36 great-grandchildren & 1 great- great-grandchild along with the many to follow. Papa Richard’s aloha spirit & big grin from ear-to-ear will be dearly missed. He will forever be the rock of the Negrillo ohana & a legend on Moloka’i. The Negrillo’s are having Richard’s memorial service on August 5 at St. Damien Catholic Church in Kaunakakai. Visitation is between 7:30-10:30 am with the Eulogy at 10:30 am.
