LARRY TAKANORI INOUYE Mr. Larry Takanori Inouye, 89, of Kamuela, Hawaii died on June 30, 2017 at his residence. Born in Kamuela, Hawaii on May 2, 1928, he was a retired U.S. Army MSGT and served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He was a retired maintenance engineer at Tripler Army Medical Center and worked in maintenance at the former Royal Waikoloan Hotel. He is survived by his wife, Amy of Kamuela; son, Larry Inouye, Jr., of Wahiawa, Oahu; daughters, Valerie (Roger Salazar) Inouye and Michele (Dennis) Tanaka, all of Kamuela; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
