Samuel Nahulu Guerrero, Jr. of Kailua died on July 10, 2017. He was born in Honolulu on July 29, 1945 to Samuel Nahulu Guerrero, Sr. and Vivian Silva Mello. He is survived by his wife Moana Trask Guerrero; his four children Kim Partika (Chris), Kelly Staggs, Samuel Guerrero III, and Kristi Sardinha (Dane); his eight grandchildren Tiana Partika, Micah Partika, Makoa Partika, Tristyn Staggs, Paige Guerrero, Braden Sardinha, Jonah Sardinha, and Brooke Sardinha; and by his sister Leslie Rodrigues (Francis). He was a 1963 graduate of the Kamehameha Schools. He continued his education at The University of Denver and Santa Barbara College. In 1965 he married the love of his life, Moana Trask. A year later he began working for his family business, Simplex Time Recorder Co., and retired in 2008. He was an avid golfer who loved golfing with his buddies at Waialae Country Club, as well as with his friends from Kailua. He was also a talented musician, loved to travel, enjoyed time spent with his family, and lived life to the fullest. The celebration of his life will be held at Waialae Country Club on July 20, 2017. Visitation will begin at 4:30pm, service to begin at 5:30pm. No flowers please.
