MELVIN HOOMANAWANUI

80, resident of Kailua-Kona, passed away on September 29, 2020. He was a Fire Fighter 3 with the Honolulu Fire Department. Served as the President of Hawaii Motorsport Association for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife Lani Hoomanawanui, daughters: Kahiwalani (William) Kaimi, Kauionalani (Jim) Danz, Kekuilani Kelekolio, Puanani (Reginald) Phillips, Honokalani Hoomanawanui and Pualani (Hope) Hoomanawanui; son: Kelii (Christina) Fernandez, 21 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren. Preceded in death by Melvin (Carrie) Hoomanawanui.
