LEILANI H. OLIVEIRA

Age 96, of Kailua, O’ahu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2020. She was born May 13, 1924 in Honolulu, Hawaii and graduated from McKinley High School. She worked as a timekeeper at the Doke Cannery and later as an assistant librarian at Kamehameha Schools. She was a member of the Pentecostal Faith Assembly Church.

She is survived by son, Emory (Lynn), sister, Marilyn Willett, brother, James “Sonny” Nelson, three grandchildren, six great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John B., son, Eric Penarosa (Luane), and daughter, Eraina Barr.

A private service will be held on October 30, 2020 for 10 members of her family at Hawaiian Memorial Park chapel. There will be a public DRIVE BY visitation at the front of the chapel. Entrance will be from the road at the back side of the chapel.
