SECOND AMENDED NOTICE OF HEARING ON
PETITION FOR REMOVAL OF CEMETERY DEDICATION

The Petition of Kawaiaha’o Church for Removal of Cemetery Dedication having been filed,
Pursuant to HRS §§ 6E-41 and 441-16, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN:
1. That on July 29, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., in the Courtroom of the Honorable Jeffrey P. Crabtree, in Courtroom 11 on the 4th Floor of Ka’ahumanu Hale, 777 Punchbowl Street, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96813 is the appointed date, time and place of hearing for Defendant/Petitioner Kawaiaha’o Church’s Petition For Removal Of Cemetery Dedication;
2. The portion of the cemetery property sought to be removed from dedication is generally described as a portion of Section B of the cemetery located at 957 Punchbowl Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813 and identified by Tax Map Key No. (1) 2-1-032:017. The specific metes and bounds of the area sought to be removed from the dedication are more particularly described in the survey maps attached as Exhibit A to the Petition. A copy of the survey map is also available by contacting Adrian L. Lavarias at Bays Lung Rose & Holma, whose mailing address is Topa Financial Center, 700 Bishop Street, Suite 900, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813;
3. All remains have been removed and no further interments have been made in the portion of the cemetery property sought to be removed from dedication;
4. Persons having information concerning the cemetery or persons buried in the area subject to removal of the dedication should report that information to the State of Hawaii’s Department of Land and Natural Resources.
