JAMES TAMOTSU SAKAI 85, of Honolulu, passed away on August 1, 2019. Graduated McKinley High School class of 1951 and served in the United States Air Force and Rotary Club Hawaii. Retired president of Naris cosmetics of Hawaii and former president of Naris International. He enjoyed golfing (had two hole-in-ones) and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Florence Sakai; son Derrick; daughters Sharon (Mark) Sakai-Miller and Doreen (Fred) Sala; eight grandchildren Jordan, Shayna, Jamie, Andrea, Scott, Noelle, Victoria, and Jimmy; brothers Mitsuyuki and Chinami (Kaneko); sister Barbara (Conrad) Krause. Visitation at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m.
