HERB SADAMI YOSHIMURA 77, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on August 15, 2019 at St. Francis Hospice in Nuuanu. He is survived by his wife, Elsie, daughters Terri (Lance) Kimura, Julie (Greg) Tanaka, Kelli (Cary) Kihara; stepson Shawn Taniguchi; step- daughters Charlen (Elliot) Oki, Amy (Joe) Salvador; 11 grand- children; brothers Mel (Jean), Wayne (Joselyn), Brian (Jan); sister Charlene Yamada; and predeceased by brother Glenn. He resided in Aiea for most of his life, spending much of this time involved in baseball as a player, a coach, and an umpire. He later became head coach for ‘Iolani School’s varsity baseball team from 1994-1996. Celebration of life planned for Sunday, September 22, 2019 at ‘Iolani School, St. Alban’s Chapel; Visitation: 1:30pm; Service: 2:30pm.
