PAUL TAKESHI KONISHI 86, formerly of Mililani, Hawaii, died peacefully, surrounded by family. Paul was a 1950 graduate of Iolani School, attended the University of Hawaii where he earned a B.F.A. and teaching degrees. He taught art at Kamehameha Schools and Leilehua High School, where he also coached the golf team. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Airforce. Preceded in death by daughter Candace, Paul is survived by his devoted wife Arline (Menor), sons Kevin (Kristen) and Brad (Lois); grandchildren: Kirsten, Kaleb, and Karissa. Preceded in death by sister Helen Nakagawa and survived by sisters, Mae Prentice, Jeanne Choo, Frances (Jimmy) Kojiro, and Sharon (Francis) Miyazawa. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 24 at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary, Makai Chapel. Visitation at 9:30 a.m. services at 10:30. Casual attire and no flowers. Private burial at a later date. |
